Utah senator proposes full teen-tanning ban

Utah state Sen. Pat Jones, D-Holladay, will introduce a bill banning the use of indoor tanning for those younger than 18. Utah requires parental permission for teens younger than 18 to use indoor tanning, but the state's health department might not be able to keep up with enforcement, Jones said. Utah has the nation's highest melanoma rate.
