Entertainment industry pledges to help stop gun violence

A group of entertainment industry executives who met with Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday to discuss the problem of gun violence said they "look forward to doing our part to seek meaningful solutions." Among those taking part in the two-hour meeting were David Cohen, executive vice president at Comcast, Michael Powell, president and CEO of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, and Chris Dodd, head of the Motion Picture Association of America. "This industry has a long-standing commitment to provide parents the tools necessary to make the right viewing decisions for their families," the group said.
