Fla. will have care coordinators for children with disabilities

Florida officials announced a plan to provide nurse care coordinators to families of children with disabilities, to help them understand services and coordinate care across agencies. "This would be one person they can go to who has knowledge of what's in the system and help them walk through the system -- almost like a medical advocate for their children," said Liz Dudek, secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration.
