Ga. district adopts "safety net" for struggling math students

Education leaders in Rockdale County Public Schools in Georgia are taking steps to provide additional support to students who are struggling under a new, more rigorous math curriculum. The district will begin providing such support to students in grades nine and 10 with Elevate K12, an online math tutoring system. "Elevate K12 has developed a safety net program that tailors math support to the needs of individual students," superintendent Richard Autry said.
