Employers cited in the latest CareerBliss list of the "happiest companies in America" keep their workers satisfied by supporting their development, recognizing their accomplishments and providing them with meaningful work, Lydia Dishman writes. Pfizer took the top spot on the list, and Pfizer consultant Steve McClatchy says the company seeks out issues before they become issues. "It's a commitment to finding out obstacles to being happy. They don't wait for exit interviews; they are proactive and continually assess their culture," McClatchy says.
