Time Warner Cable uses Digitalsmiths tech to beef up TV search

Time Warner Cable has tapped Digitalsmiths to provide customized search-and-recommendation tools for its TV applications, with the intention of extending them to set tops at some point in the future. The search-and-discovery tools work across live TV, on demand, DVR and TV Everywhere programming, Digitalsmiths CEO Ben Weinberger said.
