Study: States lack completed plans for adopting new standards

Few states that have adopted the Common Core State Standards have crafted detailed plans for adopting them, according to a new study by Education First and the EPE Research Center. Researchers surveyed states' progress on providing curriculum materials -- offering professional development for teachers and adapting teacher evaluations -- finding that just seven states have completed plans in those areas, with curriculum development being a particular area of concern.
