Pennsylvania builders experiment with solar chimneys

Pennsylvania developers -- and even high school students -- are experimenting with solar chimneys, a system that pulls hot air up and out of a building to keep it cool. "We believe we can heat, cool and light without using expensive technology," said Jack Althouse, owner of Althouse, Jaffe & Associates. "Going green doesn't mean we have to double the cost of the building."
