Campbell launches contest for meal-planning app

Campbell Soup is asking developers to submit Web and mobile applications through its Hack the Kitchen contest, with a grand prize of $25,000, plus a $25,000 contract to develop the app. "We want to make the entire dinner process easier -- from choosing what to eat and how to prepare it, incorporating pantry items and understanding the health benefits of various meal options," said Adam Kmiec, director of global digital marketing and social media. "We are hoping to see ideas that incorporate these key elements."
