100 million Galaxy S phones sold and counting, Samsung reports

Samsung Electronics reported it has sold more than 100 million Galaxy S smartphones since the first model was introduced in May 2010. That global total includes more than 25 million Galaxy S I models, 40 million Galaxy S II models and 41 million Galaxy S III models, the company said. IHS iSuppli has reported that Samsung outsold Nokia in mobile phones and Apple in smartphones during 2012.
