Group warns against possible gaps in seniors' health care

The advocacy group Medicare Rights Center is calling for a less complicated and more seamless enrollment process for Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance under state exchanges. "By taking these steps now, state and federal governments can help ensure that people who become eligible for Medicare are protected from gaps in coverage and unnecessary out-of-pocket costs that could put their health and economic security at risk," center president Joe Baker said.
