India develops drugs to address disasters

Researchers with India's Defence Research and Development Organization developed 16 drugs that can be used to treat people during chemical, biological and radiological disasters. The drugs include treatments to counter cyanide, nerve gas and toxic gas as well as radioactive decorporation agents. The treatments have been cleared by the Drug Controller General of India for use in trials.
