Restaurant industry objects to New York City's beverage ban

The sugary beverage ban that is set to be implemented in New York City might have been designed to promote health, but some in the restaurant industry see it as an example of government overreach that robs individuals of their ability to make their own choices. "I think it's anti-American. Every time you increase the power of government, you decrease our individual liberties," CKE CEO Andy Puzder said.
