RIM developer marathon draws 15,000 apps for BlackBerry 10

The BlackBerry 10 store will contain at least 15,000 applications when Research In Motion unveils its new operating system later this month following a pair of events in which developers submitted apps over a 37.5-hour period. RIM, whose shares have surged in recent weeks in anticipation of the Jan. 30 launch, paid developers $100 for every app that the company approved.
