Study links early surgical menopause to memory decline

Age at ovary removal was associated with declines in long-term memory, with younger women showing faster declines, according to a study from the American Academy of Neurology meeting. Researchers also noted a link between early surgical menopause and brain plaques associated with Alzheimer's disease.
