UN to meet over Mali as France strikes Islamists

Islamist rebels took over Diabaly, Mali, today in a counter-offensive as France continued a fourth day of airstrikes. The United Nations Security Council is slated to meet today to discuss the situation at the request of France, whose U.N. ambassador, Gerard Araud, said the country would remain "as long as is necessary."
