FDA plans to create overseas staff positions

The FDA plans to establish overseas staff positions that will focus on conducting inspections and enhancing relationships with foreign government agencies, FDA Deputy Commissioner for International and Special Programs Murray Lumpkin said. The agency, which initially intends to establish posts in China, expects the move to improve its job domestically and enable it to get more help from foreign countries, Lumpkin said.
