Viacom deal brings AT&T new HD, CruiseCast networks

AT&T's U-verse TV service has reached a distribution deal to continue carrying Viacom's networks, but also includes adding new HD and international channels as well as content for AT&T CruiseCast, the satellite-based in-car entertainment service the telecom hopes to debut in the spring. AT&T will add seven HD networks to its IPTV platform, and CruiseCast will gain five MTV and BET channels.
