ANA backs individual mandate in Supreme Court brief

The American Nurses Association was one of six health care organizations that filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court, backing the minimum health insurance coverage requirement in the Affordable Care Act. "We need to preserve the provision in the law that spreads risks and costs fairly and allows us to provide more effective, less expensive healthcare for all Americans," ANA President Karen A. Daley said.
