Fleet managers in Ore. look to CNG to slash fuel costs

Fleet managers in Oregon, including Randy McCulley of the Deschutes County Road Department, are looking at switching to compressed natural gas to reduce fuel spending. "I think it is important that we start using fuels that are created in this country," McCulley said. Fleet operators in the state recently attended a green-transportation conference in Salem, Ore., which showcased trucks that run on propane autogas and CNG.
