Texas students launch into rocketry challenge

A new space and rocketry club at Smithson Valley Middle School in Spring Branch, Texas, hopes to take part in a national rocketry competition to build a rocket that can launch a raw egg and return it to the ground safely. The students, who have begun designing their rocket, hope to qualify for the Team America Rocketry Challenge's national competition. "It's a big order, but we love this program," said student Julia LaFond.
