FMI, GMA pledge to work more closely together

FMI and the Grocery Manufacturers Association signed a collaboration agreement, stating the two groups would work together more on improving supply-chain efficiency and customer service, and collaborate on public policy, and scientific and regulatory affairs activity. They also plan to create The Trading Partner Alliance, a joint leadership group. "We will create a policy multiplier on issues of critical concern by harnessing the collective wisdom of the industry through this partnership," said FMI President and CEO Leslie Sarasin.
