Bonding company to take charge of $2.6M Vt. building renovation

A contractor that was renovating a state office building in Vermont has been found to be in default, and the contractor's bonding company is poised to step in. The bonding company is "going to try to utilize the subcontractors already working," according to a state official. The office building is one of several projects affected by the contractor's financial troubles.
