Collaborative project aims to integrate civility into architecture

A collaborative project inspired by the idea to incorporate civility into architectural designs is the brainchild of George Kapelos, an architectural science professor at Ryerson University in Toronto. The activity is now in its sixth year, but the concept of civility is a new topic, Kapelos said. The designs target the basic necessities of life such as "comfort, safety, refuge, security, and social connectivity," writes Kristina Virro.
