Dallas airport closes security checkpoint for Southwest

Love Field in Dallas was expected to close a security checkpoint today that led directly to a Southwest Airlines concourse, while a new 20-gate facility is being constructed. Passengers on Southwest will be routed through the main security checkpoint in Terminal 2. Delta Air Lines and United Air Lines passengers will continue to use the checkpoint in Terminal 1.
