D.C. principals to earn master's degrees in leadership

Washington, D.C., Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson has launched a principal training program in which principals earn master's degrees in leadership from Georgetown University. A group of 25 principals this week started the program, which entitles the school leaders to discounted tuition. "This program is about to set these people on fire," Henderson said. "They're good principals, but they could be great principals if they had the tool kit."
