Energy firm plans to build $1.3B gas-conversion plant in La.

Houston-based G2X Energy hopes to build a natural-gas conversion plant to produce gasoline at the Port of Lake Charles in Louisiana. The project, to cost an estimated $1.3 billion, could break ground in 2014 and be completed in early 2017. A final decision on whether to proceed will be made after a feasibility analysis is completed.
