Geospatial projects found to save time and money

A review of nine geospatial projects in Canada and one in Australia by Kim Geomatics revealed the projects have many benefits such as cost savings, better market intelligence and increased productivity. Geospatial data can be expensive, however, which might lead to some databases being out of date, but using Web-based databases can help solve that problem, according to Kim Geometrics President Bob Ryerson.
