House Republicans huddle to decide debt-ceiling strategy

The House GOP begins its annual retreat today, with lawmakers planning to use the meeting to decide the party's strategy ahead of the coming debt-ceiling battle. The hope is to rally lawmakers together around a coherent and far-reaching vision for the nation's fiscal future, explained Rep. Charles Boustany Jr. of Louisiana. "I think unity's a big part of it, but you have to have a plan to unify around. So that's the overarching goal," he said.
