NASA, Europe discuss partnering on Orion capsule

The European Space Agency may provide a service module for Orion, the capsule planned for a 2017 launch at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA says that although the partnership won't necessarily save costs, it will help the system work better and that such alliances will ultimately pave the way for exploration of deep space.
