RIM is buoyed by broad swath of companies wanting BB10 training

Research in Motion is reporting 1,600 businesses are registered to participate in a BlackBerry 10 Ready Program. The broad range of businesses includes Fortune 500 companies as well as representatives of the government, retail, educational and legal sectors. "We think the registrations are an interesting barometer of broader interest in BlackBerry 10 in the enterprise sector," says RIM rep Nick Manning. The long-anticipated product is expected to launch Jan. 30.
