World Wildlife Fund looks to establish connection with app

The World Wildlife Fund's AKQA-designed iPad application uses the swipe, geolocating and camera features well, Chantal Tode writes. The app has editorial content related to eight species, as well as high-definition video and photography and game-style digital origami of photos for sharing. "With a quarter of all Americans owning tablets, this is the next step in advancing our use of digital technology to help supporters get closer to our work by creating interactive content that educates, engages, and entertains all generations on the importance of conserving the diversity of life on our planet," Terry Macko of WWF said.
