ECB's Mersch hints that central bank may not raise rates

Comments about slower economic growth by Yves Mersch, a European Central Bank council member, suggest an interest rate increase may not be imminent. "We have certainly downside risks to economic activity," Mersch said. He said inflation is a concern but also that "we're not unaware of mitigation to price developments".
