Survey finds opportunities, challenges with EHR use

A recent survey revealed that 67% of hospital and physician leaders believe EHR systems will boost health care efficiency nationwide and 71% said the technology will help their groups improve efficiency. Of the 242 respondents, 46% cited a lack of funds as their main hurdle in adopting EHRs, while about 25% said they continue to face provider resistance.
