Instagram attracts 200 brand followers

About 200 brands including Starbucks, Puma, General Electric and Levi's are using Instagram for marketing through mobile photo sharing. Brands accumulate followers, much like Twitter, who get photos in areas of their interest. The San Francisco startup runs on only nine employees, yet closed a $7 million venture-capital round in February.
