More N.Y. voters are against fracking, survey finds

About 44% of New York voters are against a proposal to lift a ban on hydraulic fracturing in the state, compared to 40% who support ending the freeze, according to a survey by the Siena Research Institute. Last month, the poll found that 42% of voters favor fracking while 36% are against the drilling technique.
