Nev. governor's emergency order eases propane-supply concerns

Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval's recent declaration of a state of emergency, which temporarily lifted limits on trucking hours for propane shipments, is helping keep up propane supplies in the state during harsh winter weather. "It'll help a lot. With the weather, it's taking these guys a lot longer to make deliveries," said Julie Kraus, general manager of Western States Propane. Dealers are asking consumers to clear snow from roads and driveways to make truck deliveries easier.
