Radiotherapy tied to tricuspid regurgitation in cancer survivors

About 1 in 4 adult childhood cancer survivors treated with radiation to the chest experienced greater tricuspid regurgitant jet velocity, indicating possible pulmonary hypertension, according to a study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Higher doses of radiation were correlated with greater TRV, researchers said.
