Retailers get more creative as showrooming goes mainstream

Showrooming may have started in consumer electronics stores, but it has spread, and shoppers are now using their mobile gadgets to compare prices and buy online all kinds of retail stores, executives said at Retail's BIG Show. The trend is driving new innovations, from puppies at Petco to exclusives at Target, to keep sales in the store.
