Small-market multiple system operator Allegiance Communications is being acquired by BCI Broadband, a startup helmed by ex-Bresnan Communications executives Jeff DeMond and Andrew Kober. BCI, whose financial backer is BBH Capital Partners, the private equity wing of Brown Bros. Harriman, intends to expand its footprint through other acquisitions, according to this article.
