Survey: Nuclear medicine job openings tighten

A survey from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists found that in 2011, only 57.2% of nuclear medicine students landed jobs in the field within six months after graduation. Contributing factors include the recession and issues with test reimbursements, the report said. Despite these uncertainties, however, students are still attracted to the radiologic technology profession, according to the report.
