Caesars Palace, union are at an impasse regarding labor contract

Casino dealers at Caesars Palace voted for union representation two years ago, but neither side has agreed to a labor contract yet. Harrah's Entertainment, which owns Caesars Palace, proposed dipping into dealer tips to share with other employees if they felt there was a "competitive need" in a contract rejected by the union in August. An examiner with the National Labor Relations Board has been attempting to schedule a meeting date for the parties.
