Comcast allays regulator's concerns over NBCU deal

If the deal to give Comcast majority control over NBC Universal receives regulatory approval and goes into effect, the cable provider will not discriminate against competitive Web sites, spin off the NBC broadcast network or its TV stations, raise cable prices or reduce marketplace competition. Those pledges, according to this report, are part of a presentation that Comcast officials currently are using in meetings with legislators and the FCC.
