Medical workforce report calls for more primary care investment

Bigger investments in primary care and raising Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements are ways to increase the health care workforce, a report says. The list compiled by the Center for American Progress also suggested creation of a national health care workforce commission and changes in physician and nursing education funding.
