How brain research is used in the special-education classroom

Techniques based on brain-science research increasingly are being used to improve the education of students who have disabilities. At a Maryland private school that serves students with disabilities, brain-science strategies are used as part of the school's Model Asperger Program. Researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are using brain imagining to help predict which students might have dyslexia or other learning challenges.
