Nielsen: Online video sites stayed strong during holidays

Despite the broad-based holiday slump, Nielsen Online reported that video sites such as Hulu, MySpace, Yahoo! and the Nickelodeon group appear to have developed a consistent following. YouTube during December racked up an incredible 5.6 billion streams and 85 million unique visitors, about the same as in November, while Nickelodeon also stayed on pace with its month-earlier figures.
