QUEST hospitals saved lives and cut $4.5 billion, Premier says

Premier reports that the 157 hospitals that took part in a national effort called QUEST: High Performing Hospitals saved 24,820 lives and cut spending by almost $4.5 billion over three years. Participating centers were asked to monitor and compare their performance using the top 25% of hospitals as benchmarks in all categories, excluding cost.
