Hawaiian hotels join forces to negotiate with union

Three Waikiki hotels have decided to join forces in negotiating with the local branch of the Unite Here hotel workers union, whose contract at most Waikiki hotels expires June 30. The Hilton Hawaiian Village, Hyatt Regency Waikiki and Waikiki Beach Marriott have banded together to form what they call the Laulima Council.
