Aither Chemicals looks at 3 states as ethane-cracker possibilities

Aither Chemicals is seeking to build an ethane cracker in the Marcellus Shale region, and it is considering West Virginia, where it is based, as well as Pennsylvania and Ohio, according to officials. The facility would cost $750 million and open in 2016, according to Ieva Abolina of Renewable Manufacturing Gateway, which is partnering with Aither.
