DSW grows its online footprint with in-store e-commerce

DSW has boosted its efforts in e-commerce to compete with a growing roster of competitors including Zappos and Shoes.com. Now the chain is offering in-store buyers the option to buy online. "If you happen to be in a store and they didn't have your size, they can look up the store within the nearest proximity and complete the sale for you from that location in a seamless transaction," said spokeswoman Christina Cheng.
